It would probably be best not to speculate too much about the incident itself as these speculations may lend credence to the unsubstatiated stories running amuck right now about this tragedy. But to answer your question I do agree that the question of why Taylor would find a need to keep a machete close at hand in his bedroom needs to be answered. Especially considering the "swanky" neighborhood he lives in.
