Interesting signing at receiver

The Redskins have apparently signed Anthony Mix off the Giants' practice squad. What is interesting about this is that he played with Jason Campbell at Auburn and Campbell pushed for his signing. He's 6ft 5in and 235 pounds and was clocked at 10.6 for 100m (admittedly while at high school) and does the 40 in 4.51. Here is a summary of him coming out of college:

SI.com - 2006 NFL Draft - Anthony Mix

While he doesn't look like a game breaker for us, having a big, strong guy in the mix (do you see what I just did there?) could be a nice addition to our small, speedy receivers.

Re: Interesting signing at receiver

im wondering if we gave up any more picks to get this guy, it is nice though to have another tall guy in there. I dont think we should have ever gotten rid of McCants in the first place. but at 6'5 hopefully Campbell doesnt overthrow this guy too.

Puns aside. I've heard he actually weighs 248.
