Re: I Was Wrong When...

When I said Dallas would win 4 games (obviously)
When I said Marc Bulger would win the MVP award
When I said Byron Leftwich would win comeback player of the year (Altrhough in my defense, the Jacksonville QB is having one hell of a season)
When I took Frank Gore with the 4th overall pick in one of my fantasy leagues
When I took Cedric Benson with the 12 overall pick in the Warpath FF League
I think thats about it....

Predictions are by nature faulty, but those who go out on a limb and make an educated gamble will win my, and most others respect, even if they are wrong once for every time they are right. People who want to follow the norm and be wrong all the time can get a job working for Sports Illustrated. Then I can make fun of them.

Re: I Was Wrong When...

I was wrong when I first got on the site and thought that GTripp had no idea what he was talking about.

I was wrong when I thought Smootsmack was asian. (Dont know why)

I was wrong when I put my moms watch in the dish washer to see if it was water proof.

And I was wrong when I picked the Panthers to meet the Redskins in the NFC championship game. (Panthers are not getting there.)

I thought Marshall Faulk would be an NFL bust, and Garrison Hearst would be one of the best NFL backs to come along in years

I thought it was Colonel Mustard with the candlestick in the study

I was wrong when I thought that the term "gun point" was an actual place where crimes happen.

Re: I Was Wrong When...

I was REALLY WRONG when I thought LaVar would be the next LT. I was wrong when I predicted Shawn Merriman would be one of the biggest busts in his draft (maybe he would've if not for the roids!)

You were wrong? But that means intangible qualities don't exist because that can't be measured on a graph...

Do you know what anthropology is? And saying intagibles aren't real is a little ridiculous. Being unmeasurable is a little different than nonexistent.

Yeah I know what Antropology is. If I dont become a lawyer I want to be a forensic anthropologist. That would be sweet. But that is off topic.
