OUCH. Just when you think we're getting better, this from the philthedelphia inquirer"

"In the end, the Eagles were not a good-enough team to take advantage of Washington's many mistakes. A bad team, playing poorly, beat an Eagles team that desperately needed to get its first win."

Whatever--what I like is that the skins weren't saying how great they were either. We all know we can play better, and we will. And the more we get "misunderestimated" by the rest of the league, the better.

(And until we show consistency--and we make the playoffs--we don't deserve the benefit of the doubt, IMO. One step at a time.)

PS Doesn't it just suck to be a philly fan!!!

Almost exactly what the Dolphins hometown press said after the Miami game. No credit to the Skins, just that Miami didn't capitalize on the numerous mistakes.

Yeah, I read that prick's take on the game. Is everyone in Philly so miserable? Another qoute from his trash:

"While the Phillies were turning an 11-0 lead into a white-knuckle thrill ride in St. Louis, the Eagles were getting themselves beaten by a not-very-good football team playing not-very-good football."

I don't know about him, but 2-0 vs. 0-2 sounds like a lot better team than he refers to.

It would have been nice if the ESPN coverage could have served up the replay of Taylor's jack. I guess the producer thought that we would rather listen to Charles Barkley ramble than see the hit of the game.

Re: Redskins Eagles Highlights!

if you want to see the hit go to nfl.com and find their video coverage of the game... they have video recaps and that hit is on there...
