Re: 2007 Little League Playbook
That's what I'm hoping for, but we need our TEs to get a good seal off the edge.
As far as being able to pound the ball, the Wishbone has been MONEY thus far. I have another practice tonight and I'll put in a couple of these ideas guys.

Re: 2007 Little League Playbook
Cool, I love watching the Wishbone offense. Are they good enough for QB and RB options?

Re: 2007 Little League Playbook
Just an update on our second practice in pads and the kids continue to look good. I put in defense today, running a Gap-8, and they didn't allow a yard. Albeit, it was mostly our second team offense, but the D looked nasty.

Re: 2007 Little League Playbook
When I played little league the ast. coach but ten dollars on the QB and it seem to motivate the D even more. That was 30 years ago and if you get caught doing that in todays time you may get thrown in jail. So tell the kids not to tell anyone. LOL

Re: 2007 Little League Playbook
I couldn't get your link to work TMC but do you have any traps in there for running plays? They should be simple enough for the tikes to run.

Re: 2007 Little League Playbook
The traps are going in next week. We have 2 pages in the playbook right now with 8 plays, 16 if you count going to the other side and 32 if you count running them out of split formation.
Another team practicing last night wanted to scrimmage us (the champs from last year) thinking they would totally dominate. If it was a game, we might have lost something like 35-28. They have ONE stud player like every other team in the league except for us who was the ONLY one who did any damage.
