The Universe
Anyone else watch The Universe series on the History Channel? It's fantastic, especially if you're turned on by the wonders of space.

Re: The Universe
yeah, I haven't been watching it religiously though. Just when its on. Usually they have like 4 episodes at once and most are old so i just watch it then. But usually i had seen the episode so i don't. But yeah, its a great show. I don't know though. I have enjoyed other shows based on space more than The Universe. I think much of has to do with the fact that they have dealt with our solar system a great amount. I enjoy other, larger, discussion.
I really really really do enjoy that stuff. I would be an astro major but don't see me really having it as a job. I loved the class. I am probably going to be in college for 5 total years. I am planning on getting a CPA and in DC, VA, and MD you need 150 total credits (5 years). That might give me a chance to pick up astro as a minor. Not really because i want to do it but because i enjoy it. I would still have an opportunity to double major in business and do that. Unfortunately i doubt i would waste my time like that. i don't care what anyone says but my favorite class far and away was my intro to poetry class. We probably dealt with only the most popular poems but i really did enjoy the class. I didn't mind the 25 minute walk to class and i made sure to always go to it regardless if i missed my class before it. |
