He looks like he wants to kill somebody everytime he gets to the ball carrier. Love it. He and ST are going to be a ferocious and feared safety combination by Week 1.

Yeah, I heard about that in the Warpath chatroom. The guy is relishing it already!!!!!!! He is going to knock someone's head off!!!!!! He smells blood and will only want more!!! We got a keeper in Landry for sure. I think we should always use our first round pick on defensive players, unless we are in dire need of a QB. These guys tend to pan out a lot more.

The duo of Landry and Taylor are going to be cracking some skulls this year. Landry tries to explode right through people, just like Taylor.

Should be a fun season in the secondary.

I think the kid is going to be fantastic as long as he isn't near any paintball fields! I think his addition will go along ways towards shoring up the secondary this season.

LL looks like a guy that bring back the gang tackling attitude to the D. He's gonna make some mistakes being overly aggressive but that's why we have Priealuo & Stoutmire to give some balance & expererience at that position.

Overall, I think his attitude could rub off. I get the impression that he's more active than ST, maybe that's just because he's playing strong safety closer to the line.

Re: Laron landry Early Opinions?????

Watching the game, I didnt hear ST's name called a lot. I did see LL coming around and crunching a few guys. Is it possible that ST is just playing back more? There really weren't a lot of long runs for him to come up a lay a hit on.

Didn't think to watch what he was doing in coverage, but again, not a lot of deep balls either. They did seem to get a several over the mid to deep middle which is where I would have expected ST to be.

During the Pitt game, I am gonna watch to see how the safeties are plying. I am interested in seeing if ST is going to be the cover safety this year.
