Re: Larry Johnson on the trading block?

First of all LJ isn't going anywhere KC official aren't that dumb.

Second for the guys that said trade CP and LB for him COME ON GET REALL do anyboy know something called a CAP you know bett's just got a new contract with a big Signing Bonus and CP still have a few years left of the lofty contract he signed so not only you'll be carring a lot of DEAD MONEY by trading this guys but if you add the type of contract and signing bonus LJ would ask no way he can come, beside with CP and Betts you don't need LJ.

now the Dallas rumor same thing there's no way he's comming to dallas 1st why trade what at least would be a high 1st round and other thigns and pay huge money to the guy when we probably have a high 1st round pick because of clevelands trade and we can go after McFadden next draft and get a fresh leg 21 year old back WAYYY CHEAPER.

We have contracts commign up of Newman,Ware, Spears, Colombo, Adams, Canty, Romo and others if we want to have them back specially Ware, newman and Romo they ain't gonna come cheap so you can't go out an pay a RB 8 mill per year.

If something were to happen, IMO Dallas would be the place for him to go. They already have 2 first round picks in '08. with one of them being from Cleveland it should be pretty high. Sounds like pretty good trade bait to me.

It puzzles me why Cowboy fans think so highly on Newman. With they way they talk about him you would think he's a top 5 CB. He is no better than Carlos Rogers and that's not saying much.

Re: Larry Johnson on the trading block?

Saden Man you've have really gotten Loco watch him play before you come with a so bad remark Carlos r PLEASEEE.

You know in 2005 Newman was the only CB not to give a TD the hole year last year he gave 2 tell me who else does that.

He's a true Shotdown corner the reason his stats aren't high enough it's because they don't throw his way 2 much his only bad point it's that because he locks in the WR he doesn't see a lot of the short passes so he doesn't get as much int as you liked but that should change with the new defense.

but Newman is the most important player in Dallas defense, yes more important than Ware, and he's in the top 5 CB's in the league even if he hasn't gotten the recognitions he deserves it's like S.taylor didn't get recognition for many year even if he's more of a highlight player than newman.

Man Larry Johnson is full of himself. If he goes to another squad he will be a bum. I don't want Larry Johnson. I saw him college and now in the league. Hell Derrick Blaylock was a beast in KC. I want Larry Johnson to leave Kansas City, because after that he will be humbled!
