Damnit, I'm drunk.

It didn't look right when I wrote it. Obviously it wasn't.

The final play in Friday Night Lights. Heartbreaking, but as a member of the audience, you died with those kids on that play. That movie was real good, they had you into it the whole way.

The TV show is mighty fine, too.

How about the time Lucy pulled the football up as Charlie Brown went to kick and he flipped up and landed on his back?

I stand corrected...

Re: Greatest Sports Moment in a Movie

How about that one movie that had the aging veteran safety that was recently signed and on the supposedly final play he blows by this dumbass TE and blocks the FG. Then the other young, troubled superstar safety picks up the blocked ball and races down the field getting into position and drawing a penalty thereby giving us....errrr....I mean the "good guys" a last second chance to kick the game winning field goal with zero time on the clock. That would have been an awesome ending by itself but no, the super awesome script writers penned in a new kicker who'd just won the kicking job to try to make the FG. Of course he does and victory was ours! I mean the "good guys"!

What was the name of that movie? It came out last fall sometime so it should be hitting the shelf's at Blockbuster soon.

yea, i remember that movie. it's one of my all time favorites. it's also the sequal to another all time favorite. those same two teams played each other with the bad guys looking as though they were gonna win then all of the sudden the good guys score twice in about 2 or 3 minutes to win the game. that movie was released two years ago on a monday night.
