IMO the 6th pick in this draft is not going to get us a player of Briggs' quality. He would start straight away, making an immediate impact and we already know how good he is.

Could there also be a chance of trading Marshall for a 4th or 5th round pick? Seems we'd cut him anyway, why not try for another pick.

That said, our needs are clearly D-Line. I am on the (d)fence on this trade, there are good points and bad points, i think it would all depend on what we can get for Marshall and who we took with the 31st.
