I am just concerned with his reasoning. He can have his own thoughts, and he doesn't have to agree with...well, 99.9% of Skins fans (yeah, he's likely the 1 that makes the percentage under 100%). I just want to know why.

Green is eligible next year right? I'll be going if he, monk, or grimm make it in the coming years.

if guy gets in, is he the first punter/ kicker? and no way monk doesnt get in. and does that mean the skins will play in the hall of fame game?

Here is what could hurt Art Monk's chances.

If - I said IF - the voters want to induct only one WR, then Andre Reed has better numbers than Monk across the board.

Grimm might be the only one not as deserving, but of course I gave him the heart pick. Take away Grimm, I'd still vote for all 6 of them.

Irish...why would you not vote for Monk? He was THE best receiver in NFL history when he retired.
I think when you look at his numbers now they just dont look like HOF numbers. I know he held those records when he retired but its obvious they were not good enough for induction back when he was 1st eligible and now these many years later they just dont make it. Someone mentioned Andre Reed having numbers better than Monk. Well IMO there is no way AR is a HOFer so if he isnt then there is no way Monk can go in. Like I said, he was a very good receiver but just not quite HOF material.

No, two I can think of are Jan Stenerud, kicked forever for the Chiefs, and George Blanda, who didnt start his career as a kicker but finished it that way as a Raider.

True. Though I think it's about time they just let him in so that we'll all stop bitching.

I thought most voters already have Reed scratched off their lists?

my HOF PICKS
1-monk
2-russ grimm
3-thurman thomas
4-mike"8 ball"irvan
5-former comissioner tagliabuge
(derrick thomas mat make it in because
his death is still a recent memory-2000 was'nt it?)
if 8BALL Irvin makes it in before monk
than the voting process is complete and
utter horseshit.)
