Bernie Kosar to coach the Canes?

Interesting............that should be enough to ruin his memory and leave his broken and bloodied body lying on the field after the U uses him up

Kosar interested in Miami coaching job - College football - MSNBC.com

No experience...I don't think it's a good idea. He SHOULD be an Offensive Coordinator or even QB coach to start out with...then work his way up.

If he was interested in the Rice or Temple job, jumping right in as the big cheese with no experience would be OK, but NOT at a school where you'll be strung up onthe goalpost for not winning a National Championship every year.

I agree - I don't see what basis he has for considering himself a serious candidate for that job.

.
This is a bad idea. He had probably the worst mechanics for a qb in the entire history of football.

Looks like the U has found its coach

That's kind of like when Kareem Abdul Jabbar wanted to coach UCLA

And it would've turned out like when Magic Johnson DID coach the Lakers. 5 Wins and 10 Losses...then he quit because the ship was sinking FAST.
