And I don't think anyone is worthy of forgiveness who hasn't actually sought forgiveness or admitted to doing something wrong. As for judging him? I, for one, judged him to be an a$$hole for years now. Nothing about these recent events has changed my opinion.

To be fair, he did apologize to the Eagles once he realized that he really was expendable and that they were going to bench him for the season.

Well, it was a pretty lame and nonspecific apology and, like you noted, it didn't come until he realized the Eagles were going to sit him. After all, the apology was so weak that the Eagles sat him anyway because he didn't comply with Andy Reid's specific instructions regarding what needed to be addressed in that apology. Personally I don't see the value of any apology that's being made at the direction of someone else, but however you view his "apology", it was anything but heartfelt.
