First off, that is an awesome t-shirt. Second, I have a question (apologies in advance if this sounds stupid). I've read on here a few times that some of the posters have a good deal of legal knowledge. I was wondering if it is unlawful to have a t like that printed up. I mean, if I had my friend (who owns a custom shirt company) do it after it has been done already. It is from a newspaper article, so it would seem like you couldn't patent the design. Just curious, if anyone knows. Also, it would be cool to do all the Skins bowls (well, 3 of them anyway).

if it was a newspaper article its probably perfectly legal because you are giving the writer credit, because hes name is already on the article. What it comes down to is if your going to sell them, becuase then technically you need nfl rights to use their logo on anything. But even still people sell tshirts outside of games all the time and no one cares. I used to work at a graphic design place and the owner always made up shirts for sporting events and concerts to sell. You can probably say redskins, but mabye not use their exact font or somethign like that.

there are a ton of stores throughout the Village that sell use clothing, if you look hard enough, you could probably find some old Redskins stuff.
In HS, a friend of mine was at a Champion outlet. Was rummaging through a box of jerseys and found a jersey for my HS football team. Had the name of a guy I played with, one of the letter in his name was smudged, but didnt have any #'s. he bought it for $3, and the kid (whose name was on it) actually wore it to school. |

Ahhh, what a shirt. Makes me want to fiind a vintage store here and start digging. With my luck I'd find a similar shirt in black from '84. How'd we lose that game btw? I mean didn't we blow out the Raiders earlier that season????
