The World Series of Pop Culture

Has anyone else seen the World Series of Pop Culture on VH1? I swear to God, I need to be on this show. My brain, and the brains of a few of my friends, is so full of useless crap about movies, TV, crappy music, etc. This show could finally make it pay off. I think I need to try to get on the next season.

Am I the only one watching this?
(God I need football back in my life)

Re: The World Series of Pop Culture

My wife and I watched it the other night. The show needs to move at just a little faster pace. I was surprised at how many of the questions I knew since I never considered myself much of an expert on pop culture.

Re: The World Series of Pop Culture

I have watched and am running at about 80% correct (the rap category threw my average out of wack).
The host/question caller is a strange choice, not much personality and Lisa Guerrero is just alright for her little interviewing role. The show moves a bit too slow but the qwuestions are good and get substantially harder. I will continue to watch and am putting my name in for future episodes. Check it out here:

I was shocked over the Tom Hanks category last night. I figured I could nail that one but I think I only ended up knowing 1 or 2 answers. I consider myself a movie geek so that really threw me for a loop.

The announcer's voice is odd. It's just a little too soothing.

If you have never seen what a coke-addict looks like, check out The Hard Way's lady who nearly took out the PDX 503.

Re: The World Series of Pop Culture

this is kind of interesting and I guess it fits here. Virgin Music put this picture together, you're supposed to find the 75 band names depicted this picture. This website acts kind of weird and I don't know if there's an answer key, but you should be able to find one through Google if you want.
