Yes the Eagles are trying to win the Summer Bowl here because I think they will trade for Terrell Owens. They probably feel that their window for the Super Bowl is going to close and they want to use the huge amount of free cap money to make a big run at the Super Bowl this season and next.

Owens needs a place where you have a no nonsense coach like Andy Reid. If he acted out like in SF, he will find himself on the bench and suspended if necessary. But someone like Owens needs to have a strong armed coach.

The Eagles are poised to make some strides this season, but we may just catch them anyway.
