Hoge Picks Skins to Win NFC East

I love this new trend...where the national media sheds their Redskins-bias and looks at the facts :thumb:

I was just about to post a thread for that then say you just put this up. The Eagles are still the team to beat, but I think we can beat them.

If the rams dont start Manning, and if Warner plays well without the pressure of Bulger behind him, then dont coutn them out either. This is goign to be one tough division this year.

I'm being a bit reserved in my optimism after the past few years, but hoge earns a notch of respect in my book after stepping up like this.

Of course Hoge is going with the Redskins, we've got the best back in the division now and he's always harping on the running game.

Hoge is the one that called us fools for not drafting Winslow

It's all because of Gibbs that we are finally getting some respect.
Off topic.
We need a counter on this site counting down until the start of the season.

Hoge probably loves the fact that we now have a 'factor back'

Just makes me feel good knowing that someone in media-land likes this team's chances now. Just wait, after they beat TB, then NY, beat up on ol Tuna-breath, and stomp the listliss Browns in Sept, they'll all be ready to jump on the Bandwagon!!!

Lets keep in mind Hoge is writing counter-point to Schlerth's "Fact" column, but it's still good to get anything that even resemble's respect.

We have something to prove. Although most people are not picking the Skins to win the division, it will not be a suprise if they do. I think most people think we can win it, but are too reserved based on this is Gibbs first year back in a while. Next year if we are half way competive this year, we will will be the favorites on most peoples opinion.
