Fan Mode

So the new madden is going to have a 'create a fan' mode. They gave an example of making the typical painted Raiders fans. I hope they were specific about team, Cheeseheads in green bay, and most importantly I want to see a row of Hogettes in the stadium!!1

Yeah, it'll be nice to actually be able to put some "real" people in the stands. Now if they could just play "Hail to the Redskins" after the Skins score at FedEx!

One thing Madden has always lacked in is presentation style, especially when you see what ESPN football has done. Hopefully Madden will close that gap this year.

I sure hope they fix the oline play. God, I have no time to throw! Jansen getting completely runned over, as well as Arrington?.....PLEASE! They need to do some tweakin' on the realistic side before they even begin to touch the presentation.

On a side note: I have read that there will be franchise tags and restricted free agents.

As well as preseason position battles...ex-Brunell Ramsey...

They is going tobe more presentation stuff this year. They want it to be cool to get to the superbowl so they added a lot to that. Its never really meant much to get to that game so thats exciting.

Sounds like I will have to give Madden a try this year but I will still probably buy ESPN/Sega NFL 2K5.

I like the NFL 2k series from sega because I think that the options are better for the off-season mode, also I like the presentation of the game, the graphics, all of the other options on the game.

Like for the ESPN FOOTBALL 2K4 with Warren Sapp on the cover, that was the first one to have First Person Football. It puts you the player into the helmet of the player so what the player on the field sees that is what you see. It is pretty neat.

They also added the Crib, which is a floor layout of a house that has a game room, trophy room, entertainment room, etc.. as you play you win different memorbilia for you crib. All that stuff was added in 2k4.

I first played the Sega NFL 2K2 on dreamcast and I liked how it was set up and the game play. After Sega released it for PS2 that is all that I have bought. I think that there is room for improvement of the game but there is really no football game on the market that someone wont critise over.

All in all I did like Madden but now I prefer the Sega NFL 2K games.

hows the offseason mode and running a franchise. Thats really whats most important to me is being able to run a franchise, moreso then just doing matchplay.

I live for player progressions and all the other offseason stuff.
