I hate belaboring this dam issue but why is it that everyone is acting like this definitely happened? I am not talking about people here because I think we have discussed it enough that it is obvious that it is disputed whetehr he actually spit or not. I am talking about the news media. There has been very little about Taylor denying that it happened and all the sports writes/commentators just comment like they saw clear visual evidence. If one of these idiots commentators would say "you know what? I didn't see him spit on the other guy and he says he didn't so lets not immediately assume it happened" I would be probably crap my pants. These guys are a joke. At least this should be discussed. It shouldn't be totally assumed that this happened when it has been disputed by the person accused.

Agreed. Everyone kind of said "Mike Carey the ref is a very upstanding man." So all of a sudden that meant he was right?? Did he see something, or did he THINK he saw something? He may be an upstanding guy, but upstanding people are capable of mistakes too.

And conversly, Sean Taylor is some gunslinging, druken, crazy sock wearing, spittin' thug.....so Carey must be right!
