Re: Week 6 around the league ….

Watching the Jets / Bronco's game. That has got to be one of the most incompetent offensive play calling in a game I have ever seen. Final play of the half is just an example 4th and 1 time running down to 0 and the Jets just let the time run out instead of even trying a Hail-Mary into the endzone (They didn't even have a first down until that 2-minute drive). Kurt Warner is just about apoplectic over the Jets offensive play calling.

Frustrations are clearly boiling over. They had 0 passing game today, and Glenn was testy with a reporter when asked about Justin Fields and a qb change. Horrible start in his tenure in NY.

Fields has a problem holding the ball way too long, but the bigger problems were the decisions by the coaches (HC and OC) and the OL.

I've always liked the kid, but his stint in NY may be career ending now for his pro career. Just going to be really tough for another team to give him a chance to start going forward if/when NY moves on from him. That heartbreaking opening loss to the Steelers proved highly detrimental to the Jets' and Field's season.

A stint with the Jets is career ending for any QB! Fields has all of the physical attributes to be a good QB and very few of the mental ones. I was watching that game yesterday and he looked like a deer in the headlights. No way a QB with 2+ many years should still be playing like that, regardless of the OL. He was a day late on the throws he managed to get off. Best he'll be is a backup for a year or 2. He hasn't the ability to be a journeyman.
