Great news. Would have been better if it's 2-3 years deal.

yeah, I would have given Tress and Mariotta 2 or 3 year deals. But never know the dynamics.

Hope he doesn’t play one down, and glad AF to have him back.

100% agree on Tress. With Mariota from what I've heard on Keim's podcast, is a very devoted family man and could have been 1 of the main reasons why he wouldn't have been back this year. Apparently they live on the west coast.
either way glad he's back.

Cooper Kupp is going to be released, I'd give him a look I don't think he's washed just yet

That big draft day Ron trade that everyone thought we killed at the time? Let's take another look:

Saints got Chris Olave

We got
Jahan Dotson
Brian Robinson Jr.
Sam Howell
Cole Turner

lol roasted

Ron might be the worst judge of talent of all time. The fact that he was even allowed a draft room is ridiculous.

DL Eddie Goldman headed to the #Commanders on a one-year deal.
Sounds like a depth move, not really familiar with him

for sure. I hope they'll try to bring him in.
Luke might even pick up a few tricks from Kupp

has been a good run stuffing NT . . . BIG body, entered the NFL at like 335 or 340 and i think is playing at around 325 now. Very nice pick up and will allow for a lot of versatility along the defensive front.

Re: Washington Free Agents Signings

Commanders sign Jonathon Jones . . .

Quote:
Veteran cornerback Jonathan Jones is leaving the Patriots to join the Commanders.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that Jones has agreed to a one-year deal with Washington after nine seasons in New England.

Jones, 31, appeared in 132 games with 71 starts in his time with the Patriots. He totaled 436 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 11 interceptions, 57 pass breakups and 10 forced fumbles.

He started 14 of the 17 games he played last season, recording 58 tackles, six pass breakups and two forced fumbles.

Jones was a core special teams player the first five years of his career but played only 21 special teams snaps the past two seasons combined.

Good player when healthy, but he's healthy half the time.

Incentive laden deal? Someone will probably overpay.
