We knew the D wasn't going to be much improved; if Ron hadn't blown pretty much every draft pick in the last 3 years, Peters and Quinn would probably have had more of a foundation. As a coach I'd be pretty harsh to criticise that defence when only there are no more than 6 players that would start on any other team.

I really think that game started with a very limited game play for game 1. Training wheels!! I personally wish they would have played the starters more in the preseason. As the game went on i thought the o-line started to play a little better and JD started to be a little more calm and less jittery. We have to remember that this is basically an expansion franchise right now. EVERYTHING is new for everyone. It will take time to see what this team is really made of as right now they are all trying to figure each other out.
