What a waste of a draft pick. We should've known what we were getting when he said he was surprised at going in the 2nd round.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
His value is very low anyways. He hasn't flashed at all this year. He still has time to improve but he's only going to get one more chance with a new staff. If he still hasn't shown anything after 2024 it's time to move on.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
60% of the time, Howell was sacked every time.

It was just such an unnecessary pick anyway. Second round pick and we take a DT with Allen and Payne when we had so many holes? One more loss Ron. One more loss. |

Not at all. I 100 percent am ready to take a qb at 2 or 3 but Im certainly not going to act like it was all on Sam. EB, Ron, and our oline were absolutely complicit in his failure. It simply isn’t a black and white issue. |

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Sams career started with him beating down the Cowboys in the last game of three year, and will end with him getting beat down by the Cowboys in the last game of the year. That is an absolute failure on Ron to build around or get the most out of what seemed like a promising young quarterback.

the world needs NFL QB2 and QB3; Sam will fill those roles, i think he is a amazing stand in i wouldn't at this point call him a QB1 RR really isn't to blame here, shoot he is the one that actually gave him a shot (draft)

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Yeah and Ron bears no responsibility for the awful OL and other roster holes. Oh, wait...
