Re: Food Vices
Didn't do anything for the game, but had t-bone steak, baby potatoes, and green beans last night. That was damn good. Green beans are my new favorite vegetable.

Re: Food Vices
Changing up the way I do fried chicken/cutlets.
wet dredge of heavy cream and eggs then almond flour w crushed up pork rinds and seasonings ---------- wegmans charcoal -- DO NOT BUY, produces a mid to low heat, I had to use twice as many coals as usual second time around to get any type of sear. Kingsford - its they brand for a reason. so reliable |

Re: Food Vices
Just now seeing this thread, LOVE IT! After marrying right the 2nd time around, I dove into cooking for the family about 8 years ago. Always on the lookout for new ways to try different foods. Currently building an outdoor kitchen and have all kinds of grills.
With the start of football season upon us, can't go wrong with wings. What is everyone's favorite way to fix their own wings? |

I buy the full wings in the big pack at Kroger fresh not frozen…make the 2 cuts…use a rub with lil olive oil to apply to chicken…charcoal bullet smoker with mesquite/oak…2 hours 230 and then run them hot to finish and crisp them. The smoke and heat will dry them out so you gotta watch it, but I like them crispy. My rubs I’ve always used for smoking are from Oak Ridge BBQ which are now on Amazon.

Re: Food Vices
For fried chicken, frosted flakes would work and Id def try it. I like to do batches anyway. one spicy w lots of cayenne, one traditional
we do fried chicken and waffles, honey on fried chicken is the best ----------- We air fry our wings, so easy quick clean up. do the basic google instructions ... 6 mins at 350, flip, 6 mins at 350 flip .. then do it at like 440 for 4 mins to crisp them up good Ive never done a wet dredge like for fried chicken in an air fryer though, id be worried |
