I'm still not trading him for peanuts. If no 2nd rounder (at least) then he stays. He really has no leverage here. I'm sure they are just wanting him to see for himself that the market for his services isn't as great as he may have thought.

I assume no one is going to give up a high pick plus $$$ contract for Trent. Then if the Redskins refuse to release him it could be a major distraction.

It could be 2019 again.

No it's not, because TW can't try to say it's the team's fault. If he stays out against his contract, the NFLPA and the league would not come to his defense. But mostly his agent has to do his job and find out what is out there for his client and tell him to make a decision. Once TW knows what an open market deal is like, then it's on him 100%
