Also in my naiveness I’m still holding out a little hope that Dumb A$$ Dan has some kinda big picture plan for the future that were just not seeing yet.

One can dream atleast

Guice may or may not be good. We will see. Geron Christian in the third was a huge reach. 2017 draft was atrocious outside Allen. I have absolutely zero faith in these toolbags building through the draft.

One vendor had on nothing but Redskins gear including Redskins shoes and socks!

I asked him about it and he said there are a lot of Skins fans on the reservations and typically anyone that doesn't want to cheer for the Broncos or Cowboys will end up a Redskins fan, poor bastards.

He said he was 100% Arapaho but lived in Pecos with his wife who was 100% Pecos Indian.

I ended up with a pair of overpriced sterling silver earrings for the old lady and his business card just in case Dan needs me to find some Indians to support the team.

Been to that exact spot. Santa Fe is awesome. My wife has family out there. It is funny because I have only really known one full blooded native American in my life. Mary - super cool lady. Worked with her at a bar out in Tahoe in the 90’s and she was a die hard Skins fan. Not because of the superbowl years - in other words she wasn’t a bandwagon. She was pretty old than so it isn’t like she started watching football in the 80’s. She wasn’t from the DC area. Born n raised out west. She rooted for them because of the emblem and the name. Her words.

I tend to agree. Just that it isn’t really fair to say we nailed that pick until he actually takes the field. We are also going to have to have a healthy O-line, and some semblance of a passing game so the box isn’t constantly stacked against him.

No he won't.

Because he's gonna tear his other ACL on the first play of training camp.

Are we really giving up on Geron Christian that quickly? Man played like 2 games into his rookie year before he got hurt.

I like the Geron pick. Still do. I'm down with athletic tackles. Our LT now has worked quite well. He's no TW, TW is a HOFer, but I definitely like the potential.

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.

Moses didn't look good until his second year. So much so that the team drafted Scherff with the intention of playing him at RT. When Moses emerged in his second year, it was then they got comfortable moving Scherff to G.

Let Christian have his offseason to get stronger, etc. He's got good feet. Too early to give up on him.

Agreed, I actually think he's already shown signs of tremendous improvement from the pre-season when he looked quite awfully bad to the few snaps he took in regular season where he did an average job for the most part.
