Won't complain about anyone on the offensive or defensive line. 1 or 2 solid free agents and another solid draft class, I'd take it!

Re: Who is your dream free agent?
I'd take him, but only if he'd take a 1 or 2 year deal. He can probably get more than that somewhere.

Folks our WR position after this season isn't good. That's why if we take one in the second round this year it would be a zero surprise. Wil Fuller would be my choice. Id like Marvin Jones, unfortunately WR position is thin in Free Agency and Jones is gonna get overpaid. McC could go Kearse out of Seattle as a FA pick up... I wouldn't be mad.

Re: Who is your dream free agent?
My under the radar FA would be Mohammed Sanu.

Re: Who is your dream free agent?
People use common sense. Miller and Norman will be franchised.
I'd have to say Wilkerson. He would make everyone better on the front 7. Bring him in and then bring back Gallete, now we're on our way to being a lot more disruptive. |

It says, dream, not common sense.

Re: Who is your dream free agent?
probably not, but I think Norman, Miller and Berry are locks not to see free agency. Wilkerson isn't a lock imo. I don't think Jeffery is a lock either.
The thing about Wilkerson is the number of free agents the Jets have to deal with...

Re: Who is your dream free agent?
And their depth along that line makes it such that paying a lot for Wilkerson may not make sense. Leonard Williams fell to them and they scooped him as BPA, but that was a luxury pick at an already loaded position for them.

Actually a decent list. You know, Eric Weddle at FS with the connection with Joe Barry over Goldson? That is something I wouldn't be opposed to on a 1-2 year deal.

Second concern, unless we're talking about a longer term and legitimate solution, I hesitate to let Goldson walk because of the impact it has on the locker room. I hated the Vinny culture, let our own players go and bring in the new hot free agent. It especially hits morale in the locker room when it happens to a highly respected player like Goldson. I like the culture you breed when you draft your own and care for your own. Granted Goldson wasn't drafted but he's respected, and I want our young guys to have good examples to look up to, and I want them to see those kinds of guys being rewarded. It's a philosophy that doesn't pay off on paper with talent but it pays off in the form of culture, work ethic, and attitude. If the next Sean Taylor was hitting free agency then it'd be different, but for Weddle at this stage of his career? I don't know.
