They've lost some players, the cards are better. They beat the shit out of GB today and they lost their best player Matthieu.

I think the Cardinals are the best of the NFC right now. Carolina is really good, but out of all the teams in the playoffs or 'in the hunt' still, Arizona is the team I would not like to play...until the NFC Championship of course...

I think we have to rest everybody we can. I see no reason to put anybody at risk for a few drives or quarters. I'm not kidding I'd start Rob. Let him have a chance to show he's healthy. The opinion of him couldn't be lower so if he did anything good at all it would be to our benefit and honestly id like to see him one more time. It may not have worked out but 2012 was magic thanks to him and I hope he can go somewhere next year and get himself on the field. It just can't be anywhere in the NFCE.

Im with you. AZ and Carolina are both great. Ill just give the edge to the team with the MVP, homefield throughout, and one less loss.

You can't play RG. One bad hit, and we lose 16M in cap space, which we likely need to sign Cousins.

I would rather beat Dallas and lose our playoff game it it came down to it.
No way I would do anything to hinder a win VS Dallas.
Lose to their 3rd string QB?
Screw that!

I hate Dallas, but if beating us let's Jerry keep Garrett another year, I am ok with it. Game means nothing.

Good point, also if they win it slides their draft position back.

I really hope we sit a lot of folks, makes zero sense to risk injury. This team isn't so fragile if they sit a week, which essentially is a bye week, that they forget how to play football.

Folks need to understand that most vets are seriously hurting after 4 months of football. Resting a week pays dividends

This. Playing him at this point would be retarded..

It makes zero sense to play him. It's not going to happen.

Re: East champs!!! You like that???!!!

Do we get the Vikings now or is there still a possibility that it could flip back to the Seahawks?

I think the strongest possibility is Vikings...Seattle has to play Arizona, probably a loss. Vikings keep the 5th seed and come to us.

My preference would be Vikings at home and then go to Carolina to kick their fucking ass.

And go the the NFC championship game in Arizona and schlong them Obama-to-Hillary style.

Re: East champs!!! You like that???!!!

I just found it on ESPN. Our opponent could be one of three teams. We play the 5th seed.

Here are the three possibilities:

Seattle

How it can happen: If the Seahawks beat Arizona and if Green Bay beats Minnesota.

Green Bay

How it can happen: If Minnesota beats Green Bay, the Packers would be the fifth seed. The Vikings would win the NFC North.

Minnesota

How it can happen: If the Vikings lose to Green Bay and Seattle loses to Arizona. Green Bay would then win the NFC North but the Vikings would be 10-6 and a game ahead of Seattle.

Packers or Vikings certainly seem the most likely. I'd take either of them. I'd prefer the Vikings because Bridgewater is by far the worst QB of that bunch, but the Packers haven't set the world on fire this year either
