Re: Around the NFL Week 10

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
I swear football optimism has to be some kind of black magic voodoo. I am looking at ESPN and the Eagles victories, and home woes, and am thinking to myself, this is the game we set things straight... Just like I thought about Minnesota.

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
A corollary to the voodoo magic of football is a positive tonic from Thursday night games. If the Thursday night game is tragic, as ours was, then a good thrashing of a hated team on the weekend leads to feelings of joy and hope. Thursday's collapse seems so faraway, and yesterday's Dallas beatdown makes me giddy.

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
Let's see how NO fares against a pissed off SF team next week, I hope they beat SF. The only bummer is that SF plays the Redskins the following week.

I.think SF is about to go on a losing streak their offense just isn't very good and CK sucks this yr and don't tell me it's because he doesn't have Crabtree

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
Nope, they do have in my opinion the best most physical OL, Manningham is back. They lost to a more physical D against Carolina (they play NE next week). Some good games next weekend NO vs SF and NE vs CAR.

Didn't see the game but just read the stat line. Miami had TWO yards rushing. TWO!!
Holy crap that's bad.

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
The only thing harder to replace than a starting offensive lineman is two.
