Yeah that doesn't make sense at first blush but I think you have to evaluate him relative to the scores of other LTs. Almost all Cs are in the 85-93 range, so it's clear Madden doesn't think there's much differentiation at the C position, nor do they feel it's that important of a position. That would definitely be accurate in comparison to the LT.
An 89 at the LT spot is much more valuable than a 90 at the C spot. As for the real football world, I think Montgomery's a pretty decent center. But LT is the 2nd most important player on the field, which makes Trent the most valuable lineman by far.
