HUGE NEWS Another Hawaiian Warrior has come to become another (preseason) star...
@nfltrade_rumors: RT @ZacBoyer: The #Redskins have signed cornerback Ryan Mouton, formerly of the #Titans and a third-round pick out of Hawaii in 2009.

Kennan Robinson is your first redskin to get hurt in training camp. Doctors were looking at his left shoulder area. He tore his left pec last year in the final minute against Dallas.

And Bacarri Rambo got the first pick of Training camp against Kirk Cousins.

Sorry to see Bernstine waived. I had high hopes for him after an impressive preseason last year. His tweet upon being waived was classy too. I hope he bounces back and makes it somewhere.

Nooooooooooooo. I don't like it when the young talent gets injured. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

****ing A. Sad that RGIII with a ACL tear is going to come back sooner than this dude. It's been real AC, good luck in the future. I imagine he'll be released next off-season.

He was after the first ACL tear in college right? He might wear it for awhile but I don't think it'll be on forever.

I would think that next offseason we'll probably take a look at him, but if he's not fully healed and showing no signs of a performance drop I think it could be the end of his time here. Roster spots are too valuable to use on a guy who's out 2 consecutive seasons, and potentially longer, due to the same injury.

No skin (no pun intended) off our back if he's on IR. That won't cost us a roster spot.

Bigger concern with IR is his salary still counts on the cap. I don't know what his hit is if we cut him vs IR, but we don't have a lot of wiggle room this season.

True but I'm talking about the 2014 season. If he's out 4-5 months I think he would be put on IR, no sense wasting a roster spot on someone who will miss the entire season. In 2014 I could easily see him as a roster casualty if he's not fully healthy and showing no ill effects from the injury.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread wk 1

They can keep Carriker on the PUP and by the 8 week mark, they'll get a better idea as to where he is in his rehab. If he is ahead of schedule, keep him on the PUP. On schedule, coaches call. Not on schedule, IR.
