No I see our holes, WR , RT , and CB'S and Safeties.

But I also see a Big time LT and a legit star QB so maybe I'm just a little greedy from last yr.

I think we are on the way to being a good team. I can't stress enough how many bums were here when Shanahan came in as coach. I remember that many of the players they released never played in the NFL ever again.

I have mentioned this before, but a few years ago, during the terrible Jim Zorn years, I caught this show on NFL network about the NFL's greatest dynasties, winningest teams, etc.. They said on there that the average time it took to turn a team into a dynasty, meaning consistently winning, superbowls, etc... was like 6 or 7 years on the average. So assuming 6 years is the average, what has MS been here for, like 4 years already? So i would say there are still like 2 more years to go. If MS is here that long.

I think it could just be that we got hot at the right time last year, luck usually has a lot to do with playoffs, etc, getting good at the right time. And perhaps we have some good luck this year....

I think they're just sloppy and undisciplined right now.

They showed last year what they're capable of. Teams just don't luck into runs like that. This team has talent.

Griffin is the franchise, you don't bench him. It will only create a giant shit storm of controversy.
This. Plus, if Cousins is put in and the Shanny's open the offense up with rollouts, bootlegs and screens you're not comparing apples to apples between RG and Cousins, but just starting a huge QB controversy.

But those issues are just part of the problem, and fixing them isn't going to make this team a contender IMO. There's much more at issue here.

The Giants are 0-2. Where are all the god damn articles asking if Eli should be benched? I mean for ****s sake.

Also, another fun fact about our defense.

Chris Russell ‏@Russellmania980

The guys @PFF have the #Redskins missing 16 tackles vs. #Packers. Last week? 14. Thought it couldn't get any worse. That's a total of 30.

And RG3 isn't a two time Super Bowl champion that has proven to be as clutch as they come.

RG3 was pretty clutch last year though... At least last year if we were behind, I trusted him to lead a comeback 9 times out of 10.

So far this year, not so much but maybe this fiasco will be worked out by Sunday.

I sure hope so. I'm going with Monday night was the opener, first game back and all the hype. GB was, well GB, especially coming off a loss, and the first game at their newly expanded stadium. This Sunday however we will be back home at 1pm. Hopefully he gets his footing early and we can actually score some points in the first half. We know there's no way we shut down Detroit's offense so we need to stay on top of them. If we don't score a td, on offense, in the first quarter, it's gonna be a loooong game.

I don't think the talent was overestimated.

You can have all the talent in the world - and this team has plenty - but if your preparation is all wrong, and you are not fundamentally sound on Sundays, you have a good chance of looking like this team has the past two weeks...BAD.

Welcome!

I'm with what OkieSkins (that's what I'm calling him now) said. Coupled with the fact we have no offense, this game could be closer than you expect.
