I was a Skins fan way before they started winning SB's. I bet it was real hard for you to become a fan in 87. Hahaha. BTW... I love Williams. But Williams was no Elway. Its a forum. Not all post are intelligent and informative. Some are based on personal opinion. If your a "real fan" than don't hate on your brothers. |

Yeah, so he sits out some plays. You know what, when the game is on the line and he's on the side huffing on oxygen, i get mad too. I'm not gonna lye, i'll be yellin at the screen like "We ain'g payin you fat butt a bajillion dollars to sit while the enemy is in the RED ZONE!" but the man is double teamed EVERY PLAY and pushing about 6-700 pounds around non-stop! A sack is better than an incomplete. Yards are lost. QBs are rattled. Crowds get hyped. THE WHOLE DEFENSE get's hyped! Sacks are important! |

Re: Fences to Mend?
Once again, please someone tell me where Haynesworth has said something?
All he has said is that he'd prefer to play DE in the 3-4, but he will play whatever they have him play on defense (which I find it odd that people here who always quote the "square peg in round hole" cliche would disagree). Haynesworth was here for the first day of "voluntary" workouts, and just as with some other players, he decided not to participate and told the team that he would workout on his own ahead of time. Shanahan, being no pushover of course said that he was disappointed, but he also said that he respected AH's decision. I still don't see any drama here, and honestly people are just blowing things out of proportion. I recall the situation when Springs wasn't showing up for OTAs and Gibbs telling the press that he couldn't even get in touch with him and teammates like Phillip Daniel calling Springs out. Granted, that Springs wasn't given 41 mil guaranteed, but still people act like Haynesworth ran out of Redskins Park yelling and screaming.

Okay, I'm calm now. I'm just not exactly happy about this. I just can't shake the stats on how often McNabb has been hurt lately. All i can imagine is the other superbowl loser he'll have backing him up if JC doesn't end up staying. I want our team to be better... and right now, it is. But the only way i'll stop worrying is if Donovan somehow convinces Jason to stay has his number 2. I dont' see Donvan lasting a full injuryless season behind our current line and if the rest of the team is even a LITTLE improved, JC will shine when the time comes. |

the eagles, on the other hand, were very capable of striking quick. they had many big plays and most of those resulted into tds. that could result into some misleading stats involving first downs and such.

It will suck when we trade his defense dissecting vision and guts to the raiders and they win the super bowl. (Dontcha know They have a receiver that runs a 4.3 40yd dash.) |

As for the post above it. If Jason is so bad at reading defenses, why are his stats so close to McNabb? Really. He's said so himself that there were many plays where he wished he could do some pre-snap adjustments but his o-line always consisted of some players that wouldnt' know the audibles. If Peyton Manning was on our team he'd retire this year after yelling something and having his guards and tackles scratch their heads. He would've been creamed so many times. I keep tellin you guys, the last two superbowls we won involved great D and a QB that took hardly any sacks. When JC thows it early they yell, "He should've trusted his line" and when he gets sacked you talk about the timer he's supposed to have in his head, when other QBs can pump fake 4 or 5 times before they make up their minds and JC gets 2 seconds and jumps for joy if he can even get 3 and a half |

Oh, and why do people act like Albert has a plethora of complaining quotes when all i can find is one statement that he wasn't used to his fullest potential and that he said that Orakpo wasn't either. yall act like he was crying like T.O. does or showing up at press conferences screaming "This team is dumb! I hate everyone! Gimme money! Go Cowboys!" Oh, and if you weren't paying attention, MOST of the overpaid players have already been dropped. Albert happens to be the highest paid. |
