Well that's the FO's fault. Haynesworth came and created more sacks period. The FO should've realized that they don't need just more sacks, but they were an absent minded group and couldn't put together a peewee team.

Now, if YOU 'personaly' know football better than me, then show me how i'm wrong! If you can't, then go to the Cowboys website with all the other fake fans!
Im 41 years old. my dad brought me home from the hospital in a Redskins blanket. Nuff said there. I was watching Doug play in Orange with the Bucs long before he came to DC.

I was a Skins fan way before they started winning SB's. I bet it was real hard for you to become a fan in 87. Hahaha.

BTW... I love Williams. But Williams was no Elway.

I would say that Haynsworth is going to learn about the facts of life when training camp arrives. I don't think he has ever been to Parris Island but he is about to arrive in August. As far as complaining, or speaking out, he'll be too out of breathe in the hot sun.

Yes getting more sacks IS a big deal. and No, the big plays have NOTHING TO DO with Haynesworth. Instead of bad talking a man who contributed, why not question why Carlos Rogers is still here!?! HE is the one who gave up the most memorable big plays. I'd tather have an aging Shawn Springs than watch Carlos bite every fake move a receiver tries on him. You don't curse at the radiator when a tire blows.

Yeah, so he sits out some plays. You know what, when the game is on the line and he's on the side huffing on oxygen, i get mad too. I'm not gonna lye, i'll be yellin at the screen like "We ain'g payin you fat butt a bajillion dollars to sit while the enemy is in the RED ZONE!" but the man is double teamed EVERY PLAY and pushing about 6-700 pounds around non-stop! A sack is better than an incomplete. Yards are lost. QBs are rattled. Crowds get hyped. THE WHOLE DEFENSE get's hyped! Sacks are important!

Re: Fences to Mend?

Once again, please someone tell me where Haynesworth has said something?

All he has said is that he'd prefer to play DE in the 3-4, but he will play whatever they have him play on defense (which I find it odd that people here who always quote the "square peg in round hole" cliche would disagree).

Haynesworth was here for the first day of "voluntary" workouts, and just as with some other players, he decided not to participate and told the team that he would workout on his own ahead of time. Shanahan, being no pushover of course said that he was disappointed, but he also said that he respected AH's decision.

I still don't see any drama here, and honestly people are just blowing things out of proportion. I recall the situation when Springs wasn't showing up for OTAs and Gibbs telling the press that he couldn't even get in touch with him and teammates like Phillip Daniel calling Springs out. Granted, that Springs wasn't given 41 mil guaranteed, but still people act like Haynesworth ran out of Redskins Park yelling and screaming.

Williams WAS better than Elway... for liek a whole quater and a half! (ha ha ha)

Okay, I'm calm now. I'm just not exactly happy about this. I just can't shake the stats on how often McNabb has been hurt lately. All i can imagine is the other superbowl loser he'll have backing him up if JC doesn't end up staying.

I want our team to be better... and right now, it is. But the only way i'll stop worrying is if Donovan somehow convinces Jason to stay has his number 2. I dont' see Donvan lasting a full injuryless season behind our current line and if the rest of the team is even a LITTLE improved, JC will shine when the time comes.

some of the confusion could be because the skins were not a "strike quick offense", they had very little big plays. they would ,sometimes, put together some nice drives. those drives would usually fizzle out inside the 20
the eagles, on the other hand, were very capable of striking quick. they had many big plays and most of those resulted into tds.
that could result into some misleading stats involving first downs and such.

Hey, did you take in account the 1st downs he ran for? He was forced to be a one man show. Did he win them all? No. But you can't blame him for the L's Too many knucklheads do... way too many
Ya, I am so worried about how our squad is going to replace the stellar leadership and intensity that was J.Capbell.
It will suck when we trade his defense dissecting vision and guts to the raiders and they win the super bowl.
(Dontcha know They have a receiver that runs a 4.3 40yd dash.)

Landry's effectiveness was hindered by him not playing the position he is best at. Albert's performance was also hindered due to the system, and in SPITE if that fact he contributed to the only bright side to our ugly season. If you don't attribute Albert's contribution to Orakpo's stunning rookie season and Andre Carter's 'awakening' then you aren't paying attention.

We have nobody better than Landry in his position and we WONT get one in the draft. (with what we need, we BETTER not get one in the draft). As a matter of fact, Landry is better at EITHER safety position than either of the guys we have!

Eff them!?! What, did you not watch us get ran over without Albert? Remember the second Cowboys game? They practicaly DARED us to stop them. They ran right up the middle like 12 times in one possesion!?!? They were like "EFF YALLS LINE!" and bowlin' fools over!

You guys are so fickle. You guys throw skinz under the bus more than Portis ever did. At least Portis talked bad about people that actually $uck! Like Sellers, who's run blocking skills is gone and who fumbled away our win against the Saints and other teams. Who else did he trash... Oh yeah... ZORN!! How DARE he! Worn is the best coach ever! His playcalling skills are unquestionable! His powerful stern leadership rivals the greats through history!

You guys make me ashamed to pull out my Redskins wallet whenever i pay for things. I pull out the wallet and now i'm gonna think people will think I'm one of you fools who will dump on a QB that compares to McNabb with worse receivers, worse line, worse coaching, retarded playcalling, and little help from punk @$$ turncoat fans. Throw dirt on a HB right after a probowl year and call him old while having RIGGINS as the man when he was old as DIRT when he was drillin' fools over! A man comes to a team that had several games without sacks one year and puts a man on each side of him into the DOUBLE DIGITS and you call him FAT ALBERT and are ready to trade him AS IF ANYONE WILL PAY A BAJILLION BUCKS FOR HIM !?!??!

You bunch of ... UGH!!

I bet you guys sleep real good in your Dallas Cowboys Snuggies and your pink Tony Romo jerseys...

Yall don't know football
I know what 4-12 is. How about this? MF Landry and Haynesworth, and every other overpriced crybaby on the squad right in the ear.

Okay... that was so funny i had to change my undies before replying.

As for the post above it. If Jason is so bad at reading defenses, why are his stats so close to McNabb? Really. He's said so himself that there were many plays where he wished he could do some pre-snap adjustments but his o-line always consisted of some players that wouldnt' know the audibles. If Peyton Manning was on our team he'd retire this year after yelling something and having his guards and tackles scratch their heads. He would've been creamed so many times. I keep tellin you guys, the last two superbowls we won involved great D and a QB that took hardly any sacks.

When JC thows it early they yell, "He should've trusted his line" and when he gets sacked you talk about the timer he's supposed to have in his head, when other QBs can pump fake 4 or 5 times before they make up their minds and JC gets 2 seconds and jumps for joy if he can even get 3 and a half

Lame. "MF" is all you got? That is so lame.

Oh, and why do people act like Albert has a plethora of complaining quotes when all i can find is one statement that he wasn't used to his fullest potential and that he said that Orakpo wasn't either. yall act like he was crying like T.O. does or showing up at press conferences screaming "This team is dumb! I hate everyone! Gimme money! Go Cowboys!"

Oh, and if you weren't paying attention, MOST of the overpaid players have already been dropped. Albert happens to be the highest paid.

What are you his agent? You can't argue 4-12. That's all there is to it. No, actually I haven't been paying attention. I've been fornicating and trying to forget the misery of last season.
