if you have a bench you might want to not play taylor this week. i think hes still considered a situational player.

I would bet $$ that your offense will end up ahead of that guy you just mentioned (unless he has a couple other studs you didn't mention). Defense is very easy to improve in the first 3 weeks of the season. If you play it right, you can be in the middle of the pack on defense, and rule the league with that offense. What is the "D" scoring system?

Hopefully, this is a performance scoring system. If it is a TD scoring system, it is mostly luck, and all bets are off.

1 point per tackle is pretty high; those D guys are very important... wow, that's really a D league... DTs and CBs aren't very useful though...

Daseal,

That is not too far off from the system we use. Even more points for tackles (we use 0.5 for tackles+assists), but less points for INT's and FR's. I would say that my earlier statements about finding guys that get a lot of tackles (and/or sacks) rather than INT's, FR's, TD's, etc is even more true with your system. MLB's and SS's should be key guys in this system. Often a key defensive guy on a team with a weak offense can be huge. With the "D" on the field a lot, and the other team running the ball in 4Q, tackles can tally up fast. I mentioned June, becuase he was getting amazing numbers of tackles in the preseason - I got him as a sleeper pick on several of my for-sale keeper league teams.

Thanks Hogskin, appreciate it. When i went into the draft I knew everyone would be going heavy on the defense. I decided to go for offense and just take what I could get on D. Thinking about trading some O guys for a consistant LB.
