Fake Breasts
Ok... you guys are gonna laugh at me for this one but I'm serious. My wife has been bothering me for the last 2-3 years that she wants to get this surgery. I'm really not so sure. Aside from the obvious benefit, what else goes along with it? Has anyone here had a girlfriend/wife that did this? Truthfully, I wouldn't even consider it and I'd continue to tell her that it wasn't necessary but she gets upset everytime she goes shopping and can't buy/wear certain things because everything (her opinion) is made for women with big breasts and she is ALWAYS self conscious.I guess these are my main questions-
1. Health. Seriously, it's some artificial device implanted into your body, how healthy can this be? 2. Regret. What happens if she wants to get rid of these things later? 3. Breast Feeding. We don't have kids yet and she may want to do this later on. Are there issues? 4. Scarring. To me, it kind of defeats the purpose of the boob job if she gets alot of nasty scars. Appreciate any advice, as I'm getting pretty close to giving her the go ahead... |
Re: Fake Breasts
Bleedburgundy, are you going to show us before and after pictures? ;)
|
Re: Fake Breasts
Sure. I might even mix in a little live action video...
|
Re: Fake Breasts
Also, remind her that if "when it's super special love-love time" that if she likes some "touching" in that area, that sometimes you can lose sensitivity all together, even though on the flip-side it can increase.
As far as it's concerned for you... they don't feel real at all. |
Re: Fake Breasts
If she gets them, make sure she gets them from a good doctor and that she doesn't get crazy big ones. I had two flat-chested friends who got huge implants and they've had so many problems. If you're an A cup and you go for the DD cups, you're body is going to say, "WTF!" Any doctor who says otherwise is a quack.
My one friend has had 3 surgeries to help build and maintain a "shelf" to support the big twins. She had to wear an ace bandage around her chest because the implants kept sinking (due to the lack of a proper "shelf") and her nips were resting on the top of her jugglies. Aside from that, I can't offer any advice as to health concerns, breast feeding, etc. I believe, however, that the saline implants are pretty risk-free (although the surgery isn't) since your body can handle salt water. |

I don't need them lol) 1) Health wise, Don't get the saline (if they even use those anymore) get the silicone. Saline is a health risk due to the bags bursting and leaking into the blood system, which is toxic and can kill you. But like I said I don't think they use saline anymore. 2) If she wants to get rid of them later she can. Its a fairly simple procedure to remove implants. 3) As for breastfeeding, I'm not too sure with that. I think you can STILL safely breast feed with implants, but you might wanna look more into that. I think its a 50/50 chance at being able to breast feed. Some women can, some can't. 4) Scarring isn't really an issue if you have a good plastic surgeon and she doesn't repeatedly get them put in and taken out. There are different types of incisions they can make (around the nipple, under the breast) and I think the Dr. will make that decision based upon the implants and her breast size now. Hope that helped a little. :) |
Re: Fake Breasts
In general, I'm indifferent I suppose. But a close friend of mine had her's leak out the substance inside of her body. She's been battling different ailments for years as result and has a pending lawsuit against the company that manufactured the implants.
At the end of the day the real question your wife has to ask herself is, does she want a foreign substance inside her body for the rest of her life? |
Re: Fake Breasts
With regard to the previous two posts, it is my understanding that SALINE implants are fine. Saline is essentially salt water. Silicone implants, however, are known to cause serious health problems when they burst.
I thought Silicone was banned and Saline was safe for the system... But I'm probably wrong. I would recommend going to strip clubs and reviewing various "Jobs". You should take your wife too! I'm not to fond of the 'jobs' that require nipple reattachment or a large cut from the nipple to the base of the boob. Also, Feel a few of them. I have a good friend who let me feel her up after her boob job. It was magnificent! She had a full C cup( She is a tiny filipino cutie) that looked great with no visible scars. Her boobs were a little heavier than a real one of that size but just slightly. I will try to get a picture or feel them again just for research. ;) Go to strip clubs with your wife and check out all the variations of boobs. |

My friend did have the latter. But I know other who have Saline and they are experiencing different issues. In fact, one girl is thinking of removing them altogether. It's just that, why put something in your body only to have another procedure to remove it if doesn't work out. That's just too much risk if you ask me. |

Re: Fake Breasts
Anything that's fake is a big turnoff for me. It's deceptive and it's not real. Fake boobs, nose, lips, ass....you name it, if it's fake I don't like it. If she was my wife I'd tell her "I love you just the way you are. I married you as you are and I wouldn't have it any other way."
Maybe she's planning to leave your ass? lol |
Re: Fake Breasts
Just say no.
Maybe she's pursuing a new career. |

Plastic women just look desperate, cheap, and strange. Fake boobs are fine by me, provided they aren't crazy big. I don't care about fakeness from a more principled level because women are already so fake. They wear makeup to accentuate their cheeks and eyes, concealer to hide their zits, heels to make them look taller, contacts to change their eye color, padded bras to make their twins look bigger, stockings to make their legs look smoother, lipstick and lipgloss to make their lips look prettier, etc. |
Re: Fake Breasts
I have a friend and his wife had them done a few years back with no complication. His favorite saying is that "it's" the gift that keeps on giving!

Re: Fake Breasts
I have never looked into it, but im sure you get what you pay for in regards to scarring. I could talk about breasts all day, i really could. Best pair, i dated a runner that had mid sized c's and they were oddly very firm. like muscular almost underneath. Very hot.
Does she want the boob job for you, or so more men will look at her? That's the question you've got to come to terms with. |
Re: Fake Breasts
If it's a self esteem issue, You can always post a picture of her boobs and we will make kind comments about them( Schneed wont...).
That think that would be best. <Waiting for pictures> |
Re: Fake Breasts
I keep coming back to this thread in hopes that there will be boob pictures.
Yeah, I'm mature like that. |
Re: Fake Breasts
I mean if they're gonna make her happy, why not... but make sure its a well thought out thing... kinda like getting that tattoo...
@Monksdown: It really doesn't matter why she wants them... whether they're for him, or for her to feel better because she'll be getting more male attention. If its in her personality to base a level of satisfaction on attention from men, its not like not getting the implants is gonna change that... I was just corrected by my wife... Everyone wants to be attractive. It has nothing to do with pleasing men, but when you look good you feel good, so that's that. I'd like to take this opportunity to share a bit of wisdom along the topic of boobs. If you've got a hot doctor (female) and she's very nice and you think she's flirting with you... don't mistake a hernia check for an opportunity to cup a breast. Not worth the risk, because at that point she has to call in a witness, and the witness will know why he's there, and the situation is very uncomfortable all around... not at all like you would imagine it panning out. |

I knew it was one or the other. I just couldn't remember which. Indeed you are correct. Its silicone that causes problems, not saline. |

Re: Fake Breasts
Regarding the reasons why... it is strictly because she associates bigger breasts with being more feminine... Why... Who knows? Like someone previously said, if she's getting breasts for other male attention, then what's the difference? IT's not like NOT having the big tits is gonna prevent her from being a tramp. I'm pretty secure, so I'm not worried about that at all... She already gets looks and all of that from people when we're out, she's a pretty little creature. This is just something that I know bothers her because of what she sees as "womanly" and what she doesn't have... I'm still saying no on this because I truly think she will regret it later.

That think that would be best. <Waiting for pictures>
Hey, I resent that! I can't think of any set of boobs I've laid eyes on that I haven't liked! On a serious note, I say go for it. The medical risks are minimal now. You hear the occasional horror story, but the statistics have gotten very favorable at this stage. Cosmetic surgery can give a woman that last boost of confidence she needs. And it's not a false confidence, either. Confidence is all about how you PERCEIVE yourself, and how you perceive that others perceive you. That seems convoluted but it's true. If having the fuller chest makes her feel better about how her clothes will fit, how she'll look, how you'll look at her, etcetera, then that confidence will trickle down into other parts of her life. She'll be even more proud of who she is, she'll be happier, and chances are you'll see an uptick in her sex drive. You'll love her no matter what her boobs look like, but she'll be happier if she gets them done. |
Re: Fake Breasts
If she gets em done, I nominate them the official boobs of RedskinsWarpath.com!

The health risk associated with surgeries is great so why have an optional one? Kanye West's mother died recently of complications from a "routine" optional surgery. Just say no! |

I don't know your lady, so I don't want to speak out of turn. But I'm not so sure she'll end up regretting it. The self confidence she'll draw from it is going to improve her mood every day. My wife gave birth to our first 15 months ago. We're planning on having a second in a few years. Once we're done, she wants her boobs done. I'm all for it, she'll be so much happier with herself. Life's too short. If doing it will make her happy, I say go for it. But of course I don't know her. |

Yeah, it FEELS that way. Same thing with a cancer patient given a 99% chance to survive, it feels scary as all get out. But the statistical probability remains. Risk of death from the surgery is so minimal it shouldn't even be a remote consideration in this case. PS I work in healthcare administration. We'd cut the program if it were killing people. |
Re: Fake Breasts
OK... Here is my experience with fakes... they look good in clothes, but outside of clothes, they always look odd... everytime she bends over, you will see the implant as it forms a ridge on the bottom third of the boob.
On the plus side... if she does get them, make sure you take her in a dark room and hold a flashlight up to them... they will glow like a latern (less mass). |

Re: Fake Breasts
I don't know if this will help you BB but it should be interesting anyway. My relative wanted to "improve" her rack and looked into the options. She is a mom (of three) so she was a bit saggy. Not wanting to get much bigger she opted to get a "boob lift" of sorts, w/o implants, and was very pleased. I think w/ more perkiness the breasts seem bigger (and not to mention better).
|
Re: Fake Breasts
As its been said already, a pretty safe routine these days. Ive dated several in the past with fake boobies, and some were way too big and firm, others were pretty decent. The thing you have too make certain is a quality, which isnt usually the cheapest, doctor evaluates and performs the surgery. Good doctors wont let women go beyond their means, so to speak. My wife has had hers for over 13-14 years now, without the first problem. She was a small B cup, went to a full C, perfection I tell ya! The more natural setting fakes have the implant under the muscle. As far as breast feeding, she breast fed both of our kids no problem, and to be honest with you, her boobies are way more natural looking and feeling now. I can talk boobies all day, but thats it for now, hope it was helpful.

Re: Fake Breasts
I didn't see this kind of post, so I'll just say...remember, if she gets them, most guys will stare, is that what you really want?
It's better to be yourself than someone you're not. But hey, like a tattoo on a 90 year old, they will certainly be funny looking in 40-70 years. ;) |
Re: Fake Breasts
Some dudes are just total assholes and stare no matter what. So thats not really an issue. But to respond to some other comments earlier about if she doesnt like them she can have them removed, well sure, but then you have extra skin to deal with, let alone the expense. IT IS NOT CHEAP, putting them in or taking them out! So I'd make damn sure you and her are completly positive on your decision before moving forward.
Hail to the Boobies!! |

I know of a couple of women who had this done... most without a problem... but I know one who lost "sensativity" in the nipple... man, what is the point of having a nicer rack if they don't feel. Unless they are just gross, let nature be. :soapbox: |

That makes me feel pretty good. My girlfriend wants to get them ASAP. She's wanted them for a long time. I think she looks great now, and I told her that, but I'm not opposed to the idea either. My only worry was the complication thing, particularly breast feeding. We've been together a long time and hope to get married and have kids, so I was concerned in that respect. |
