Re: Skins vs Eagles Pre Game Thread
i didnt hear the audio but im not interpreting it as kelly being uncaring as much as he doesnt want to know certain info so he doesnt have to talk/disclose certain info ... i could totally be wrong as i would have to hear the audio.
i believe nfl teams have to disclose a certain level of info re injuries on a weekly basis (i.e. pats sayins player X has a body injury ...) but if i was a coach, the less i know the less i dislcose the less i have to talk to the media about
So I decided to watch, and man he's really an a**. Watch from 0:20 to 0:40, I bet you think it's worse when you see his body language and hear him. I can not imagine him handling the Washington media for 1 press conference. |

Surely you know that most Baltimoreans HATE the Redskins. So why would a Baltimore TV station choose to air a Skins game? Answer: They wouldn't. Two words: Sunday Ticket. |

Two words: Sunday Ticket.
Ain't that the truth. I work in Baltimore so I commute sometimes to watch the game nearby. I found out that the Dave and Busters in the area plays Baltimore and Washington games in the sports bar. If they play at the same time, Baltimore gets the game over the speakers though, which sucks. Although when Washington or Baltimore plays on different days (or one or the other has a 4pm kickoff) Washington gets the sound over the speakers. So it's not a total loss. |
Re: Skins vs Eagles Pre Game Thread
I actually don't mind Kelly's response regarding injuries... you get bombarded with them during press conferences.
I can appreciate only caring whether the guy is going to play or not. |

I feel like the Skins and the Ravens have a relationship where Skins are like the Ravens younger brother; a nuisance and fun to pick on because they're not as good as they are. As brothers, the Skins and the Ravens would be just close enough in age where you're actually able to kick them in the nuts rather than just sit there and take it because you're too young to fight back. I feel like that's what happens when you have two teams close to each other in proximity and one team is better than the other (at least on paper). |

Some have explained it to me that: 1. When Baltimore lost their beloved Colts overnight they were distraught, and they would get Redskins games on TV instead of the Colts, which made them bitter. 2. The Redskins blocked Baltimore for years from getting another franchise. 3. They're Baltimorons . . . Perhaps you should consider packing up everyone in the family truckster and move the hell out of Dundalk....Joe Move to like...Potomac. You can probably get Skins games reliably there...HTTR |

FOX45 strives to broadcast as many Redskins games as are available to us. The FOX network follows the AWAY NFC teams each week. CBS follows the AWAY AFC teams each week. Here`s how you can tell if FOX45 will be showing the Redskins: If the Redskins are away or playing an NFC team at home in the afternoon, then the game would be on FOX. If the Redskins are playing at home, against a visiting AFC team in the afternoon, then the game would be on CBS. If the Ravens - the market`s home team, are playing at home in the afternoon against an AFC team, then the game will air on CBS and FOX45 will not be able to show ANY game at the same time - even if FOX has a national double-header weekend scheduled. If the Ravens - the market`s home team, are playing at home in the afternoon against an NFC team, then the Ravens will most likely air on FOX45 at that time, even if a Redskins game is scheduled at the same time. IMPORTANT EXCEPTION: If the FOX network offers a game that may have playoff implications for The Ravens, the market’s home team - FOX45 may opt to air this division or conference game in lieu of a Redskins game. These rules are set forth by the National Football League and are unfortunately beyond much of our control. Some Redskins games will undoubtedly not be carried on FOX45 due to these restrictions and we apologize to our viewers for this inconvenience. Why doesn`t FOX air any other games when the Ravens are playing? NFL broadcast rules prohibit stations from airing any games while the home team is playing at home. Two words: Sunday Ticket.[/QUOTE] Nope that gets blocked too. People in Fawking HI can watch the Skins vs. Eagles but if you live in Baltimore you are Fawked. One work around if you are in Harford County with Comcast they get FOX 5. My neighbor has it I will be there to watch the game. Re: Skins vs Eagles Pre Game Thread
Jordan Reed (hamstring) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.
Reed isn't going to play this week, leaving tight end duties to Niles Paul once again. Paul is a high-end TE2 with TE1 upside this week in Philadelphia. per rotoworld. Sucks, but looks like Paul probably in this week. Kinda hoping Reed was going to return. |
