More so the last 6-7 years give or take? Besides this year, which year (this year is still in question) didn't we overpay for someone over the hill?

No sarcasm intended. If anyone can compile a list of our free agent signing from like the past 10 years or so, it would be much appreciated and very interesting.
who did we overpay for last year?? we only picked up fletcher andsmoot and both of them did great.

Why don't you give some examples from the past few years of us overpaying for someone over 30 years old?

Because (granted this is off the top of my head) as best as I can recall Griffin, Springs, Washington, Moss, Portis, Smoot, Lloyd, Randle El, Rabach, Archuleta, Duckett were all under 30 (some close to, but still under) when we signed or traded for them. True some didn't work out, but they weren't "over the hill"

So that leaves who? London Fletcher-well worth the money, Todd Collins-didn't overpay and he certainly stepped up last year. Todd Wade-didn't overpay. Pete Kendall-I guess we could go either way on that one. Mark Brunell-I don't want to get into another debate over him.

So it seems to me, unless I'm really missing a lot, that the notion that we've spent the last several years overpaying for over the hill players is a bit overblown.
The "Raiders" still aren't going to be anything to worry about.. It didn't work for us, and it wont work for them... That tommy kelly signing(contract) is gonna turn around and EAT them later. He's NOT worth anything near that.

Is that better? shtt

Proof-read? this is a message board dude, this isn't english class.

I'll worry about proof reading when im getting paid, or graded for it.

If you dont understand what I'm saying, sorry.
Hey no need to get your panties in a bind. I had no clue what the hell you meant in that last sentence so for mine and everyone else's convenience It would be outstanding if you just read over your post before clicking submit. It only takes a few seconds.

Ok, perhaps I blew it out of proportion or I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the early 2000's.

A few that kinda stick out for me from the past few years, not necessarily all overpaid are McCardell, Patten, Daniels (torn on), Wynn. Im pretty sure If I researched into it I could bitch and complain about every years free agent signing, maybe thats just me being hard to please.:screama:

All under 30 when we signed them, if I'm not mistaken. Except Keenan, who we definitely didn't overpay for.

d hall rumored to get 70mill, 7years.

holy crap, that's just too much. not that good AND locker room issues, AND it'll cost them a 2nd (very very high) and a 6th round pick.

oh hahaha maybe he should take his own advice before telling someone else to do something. LOL Oh, nevermind, he's perfect eh?

Classic. This is exactly why NO one should comment on ANYONE about typo's or grammar over the internet, Especially on a sports message board that's for fun.
