Speaking of all of this, I think we need to get together and drink very soon. Aside from the usual suspects that I've already met or am going to meet at games this year, why the hell isn't GIGgity, Grillz, 12thMan or mheisig coming to opening day for MalcolmFest 2006?!?!

I guess that's not unmanly.

HAve you ever had a shot (for lack of a btter term) called a Zipperhead? You need a straw for that one because you are supposed to drink it as fast as possible.
You mix vodka, rasberry shnapps, a little bit of tonic water and ice in a cup and down it through a straw. Its the type of drink that doesn't hit you for a minute, but when it does it's nice.

Nah. I haven't had a whole lot of shots besides my old stand-bys and straight-up stuff.

Here's my alcohol chart and the effects:

Beer: I can drink beer all night and not get too trashed, I have a great, happy drunk with beer.

Whiskey: instant a-hole, I'm my own worst enemy on this stuff. If I do drink it I have to really watch myself and switch off to beer after a few. If all I drink is whiskey for the night, I'm in trouble and so is anyone around me.

Vodka: I get absolutely trashed on vodka. I have no control, by the end of the night I'm drinking straight vodka with just a splash of mixer. Big fan of this stuff.

Gin: pretty mellow drunk, I don't get too drunk or out of control, just right.

Wine: I'm starting to become more of a wine fan lately. I love the buzz, it reminds me more of being stoned than drunk.

Tequila: Kinda like wine, I almost feel more stoned than buzzed.

Beer: Same as Matty.

Whiskey: Never touch the stuff. Makes my insides feel weird.

Vodka: Get sleepy and want to talk people's ears off about shit that doesn't matter.

Wine: Absolutely trashed on one glass and then I want to make out with my fiancee and pass out with her half-clothed.

Tequila: My BFF. I pass out a couple states away from where I started with a half-eaten burger on my stomach and people I don't know passed out around me.

Stadium. We just have a lot of people coming to opening day so I decided to have a huge tailgate party at FedEx.

Excellent. We'll most likely be in the green lot. Plan on bringing at least a 12-pack because we're going to be downing a LOT of booze.

Is anyone else going to any preseason games? I usually hit one up, since I try to not too hammered at regular season games (I hate to pay $80+ for a game that I can't remember) maybe I'll just get completely shitfaced during the preseason (where the tickets cost the same but the outcome doesn't matter).

i may come down for the tailgate but will i be the only one without a ticket? not sure i'd be coherent enough to even go into the stadium anyways...
