Kyle finally adjusting to blitzing in the second half may have saved the season. Oakland's blitzes were incredibly effective in the first half. Washington beat the blitz more often than not in the second.

It wasn't pretty and I don't know if it was something we can really build on (beating a bad team missing its starting QB, RB and FB is not particularly impressive).

but a win is a win. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. In this case it was a small baby step, but still ... better 1-3 than 0-4.

Style points do not matter in the NFL. A win's a win. Excited to actually wear some Redskins gear with pride.

Griffin made some nice throws today, he's getting more healthier as the weeks go on. That's a had thing for the east

Hopefully it's not just an ugly win, but a springboard for the next game and beyond. A few things I liked though.

Hankerson showing some fire.
Helu!!!!!!!!!! We need to get him the ball more. Period. I'm not saying make him the starter, but I think it should be 60/40 Morris and Hulu.
Peter Boy is winning me over. Never worth what we paid but at least he's balling.
Amerson getting some swag.
Front seven balling except the the ILBs, which is effin weird.

I agree with everything you said. The only thing it is obviously one game vs a bad team that had a lot of players injured. But a win is a win.
