I voted today and it took all of 15 minutes to make a CHANGE in this country.

I just voted and it took me less than 15 minutes. I was in and out.

I voted 2 weeks ago. Absentee is the only way to go.

I didn't get a sticker, though.

That's what she said.

Where did you vote at? It took my wife a good hour this morning.

My wife just called and said she voted, and there were no lines (North Arlington).

LOL, good one.

I voted in Falls Church, VA at the Bailey's crossroads community center. I didn't go until 10:30 am. It was pretty quiet.

I'm one of the lucky people who get to contend with the after work crowd. Have to head up to Columbia Maryland (Howard County) to go vote. I probably won't get there till around 4:30, 5pm. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't have to wait in an hour+ line (or in the rain).

Either way it's well worth it. :)

Took me all of 5 minutes to vote. I live in a small district I guess.

The line was out the door and around the building where I have to vote after work. Unless they have changed something that means that there is a line just as long in the building. My neighbor works the pole every year and we joke that we just cancel out each others vote. This is the first time we get to elect our mayor and no one can seem to tell me anything about any of the people running. There is one pretty hot lady running so I might just vote for her.

We have come a long way since the days of Poll Taxes but what's up with the some precincts not having enough voting machines and machines breaking down?

p.s. If you're into Supreme Court cases checkout Harper v. Virginia Board of Elections oral arguments (part 1 and part 2). Really great stuff.

Well if you look at history we have low turn outs in most elections. I'm sure if this trend continues then we will see more voting machines and more places to vote. They are machines and they are going to break down.
