umm, no. This doesnt work. Just because you are fast does not mean you will be a good WR. Some players play faster with pads on than they run wihout pads on. I guarantee you throw pads on any track star that doesnt play football and they will be lost. This is a lost cause.

Nevermind the NFL speculation, his run was remarkable especially when you consider he coasted the last 20+ meters or so. It was one of those outstanding sports achievements that don't get quite the appreciation they deserve

I have to admit his speed does intrigue me but let's face it looking at past sprinters turned WRs, the odds of him becoming a great WR are very slim. Ron Brown is the only one I can remember that was decent to good.

Another thing to consider is the NFL contract set up. If this guy is young with a very bright track and field future ahead of him with the potential to become the greatest sprinter in history with all the potential endorsements and fame that could follow (yes, U.S. and International companies can market him) why would he want to get his body beat to hell in the NFL with a contract that has only a modest signing bonus guaranteed compared to what he could make in future endorsements and still be able to walk at 50? Plus the man has been a sprinter all his young adult life, he has never played football. This in his world would be taking a huge risk/gamble.

More than likely in my opinion he would stick with track even if offered an NFL contract. He would be wise to do so.

I recall, from a Monday Night Football broadcast from many moons ago, that sprinters always have issues when trying to become wide receivers. One reason being that you're never sure that they can catch (obviously). However, the bigger issue is that sprinters tend to bob their head when they run, as an NFL receiver you can't afford to do this because then the ball will be moving all over your field of vision and it will throw off your hand eye coordination. As a receiver your head must be far more still when you're running, sprinters have trouble adapting to a new running style.
