Taking The Metro To The Game

I have a few friends which will be up in the area and going to the game this week. They do not have a parking pass and were thinking of taking the metro. Has anyone done this and is it a pain to get to the game? Any info would help. Thanks.

Re: Taking The Metro Too The Game

I've never taken it to a game, but here's something I found on the internet.

Metro to Redskins Game - FlyerTalk Forums

I remember hearing someone talking about taking a metro, and then taking a bus. Who knows...

Take the Blue Line to the Morgan Blvd. stop. The stadium is less than a mile's walk...

Metro

The Metro rail system provides public transportation to FedExField for events. For a round-trip fee, FedExField provides shuttle bus service three (3) hours prior to the start of the event through 90 minutes after the completion of the event from the Landover station on the Orange Line. Metro shuttle buses are staged in Lot B2 at FedExField.
I am going to bust your balls though for NOT using the search function though...you're not wet behind the ears...plus it's in the wrong forum (See Redskins Meetup). 2 for 2 there big guy

Seriously it seems like every thread now is just an opportunity for someone to try to bust on it or call it a dup.

Enough is enough. BD take off the thread badge, you are not a mod.

Wow...all I can say is wow.

It would be one thing if he was a n00b, however he's been around long enough to take some light hearted antics...we are in the Parking Lot, correct?

And I know there have been several threads that have pointed out how to get to FedEx via Metro...because I've participated in them and have listed how to do it. I could have just said use the search function, but I didn't. I did provide the answer asked for, and then tried to have some fun. Sorry it didn't come off that way.

But to each their own. You're absolutely right, I'm not a mod. So I will shut my pie hole and crawl back under my rock.

I did not take it as an insult as you can see my response. Back to the question is it a big hassel? I knew you could but was wondering was it one of those things that was a big hassel to do. Like long bus lines and/or walking etc...

Re: Taking The Metro Too The Game

I have taken the metro before. The metro is no problem the bus ride from the station to the staduim dicey at best.

If you don't mind being smashed into a bus you will be fine.
