Roger Goodell: Playoff expansion a possibility for 2015 - NFL.com

I don't know if I'm a fan of this or not just yet.

Personally I am not a big fan of it. I think there are too many teams already. (I know I will get flack for this)

I'm with you. The regular season should skim the cream off of the top so that those teams can compete for a Lombardi. Adding more teams just cheapens the notion of "cream" in this analogy.

I was just thinking about it, how would you guys feel about Josh Gordon? I get the feeling that Morgan wont be here at the end of the year and I know that Hankerson has been stepping up so fat this year but I was just entertaining the idea because I saw the Browns and 49ers were discussing a trade for him.

I was saying a week ago to trade Kirk for Gordon.. Rg3 is our guy for 10 more years no point wasting Kirk's value

I wouldn't do that straight up. I would get a 2nd or 3rd out of them a la the Bailey/Portis trade. But I could work with Gordon and a 2nd for Cousins. Especially with Hoyer out with an acl tear.

Re: Around the NFL Week 6

They would probably give Gordon and a 4th or maybe at most a 3rd but I doubt it.

Gordon is a positive test away from being done for a year. That probably brings his value down a bit. I wouldn't give up Kirk for him straight up.

Yeah I forgot about that, would still do it for him and a 2nd. They have 2 2nd rounders anyways.

Greg Little and a 2nd-round pick.
