We have a good chance against the Eagles. Lito is hurt. Should be a low scoring game. We have to put pressure on McNabb
I'd like to see a few high-percentage passes for Campbell early in the game. Portis looked good. Worried about Jansen.

Packers are underrated. But the Eagles will be coming into the game pretty pissed about losing week 1

What I thought was interesting is that they pretty much never run, but the Eagles get constantly scrutinized by the media when their pass heavy game plan doesn't work.

a good team won't let an emotional one beat it....this will be a real test to guage how good we are...we're going to have to put more points on the board

Next week is a huge opportunity now to put the Eagles in a hole.. I'd love to drop them to 0-2 with a win next week.

Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
we will win a close one... i mean its monday nihgt in philly, but i still seriously think we can win if we pressure mcnabb, get a few take-aways, and control the clock with very few punts.... and HUGELY, an improved 2ndary

I think they are beatable. If we can get the receivers in the game more, then the O should flow better. Lets start the push for 2-0

I think we will be looking at another close game next week, but I think it is very winnable.

We can beat them because getting a close win like we did today is a confidence boost.
I will be at the game cheering the Skins to victory!!!

All the power to you for going to the game in Philly. I would never do that though those fans are ruthless, and the most obnoxious fans in the NFL.

Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
McNabb was really roughed up today by the Green Bay defense. I think he will have a lot more success against us next week. GW has to keep fresh bodies rushing the passer all day, and the front 4 can never give up on a play. The linebackers can't ever let Westbrook out of their sights.
Campbell should have a much better day against that defense. Should be a good day for him. 57% and 10.6 yards per attempt this week, and that would have been a lot better if Santana didn't drop three balls. Ints aren't a big deal going foward. I feel they will be a problem for Campbell until he learns to balance discrection with valor back there, but that will come with experience. His comp % will go up and his Ints will go down. 10.6 yards per attempt in a game where Moss dropped all those passes is very encouraging. |
