@NickiJhabvala
The Commanders jumped from 32nd last year in the NFLPA's annual survey about teams' workplace environment to 11th this year. Remarkable turnaround, and the latest sign of the complete overhaul under owner Josh Harris.

Winning, ownership, team chemistry and good coaching. If Harris wants to get to #1 (does he care enough as long they are up there?), then maintain consistency on these, but improve facilities and secure a better stadium. Have to think we'll rise up those rankings and make more players want to be here. Build it, they will come.

Re: Commanders 2025 Offseason Thread

Keim reported that he doesn't expect the team to spend big for one or two players, so I suppose we are unlikely to trade for Garrett or sign a big name player. Keim also said that we are mostly going to target those players who are similar on Biadasz and Luvu level.

I agree with that. We are now a destination/team players want to play for. Getting more players like Luvu, Ertz and Wagner is an excellent way to fill holes especially for depth. Injuries are a fact of life and quality depth is valuable.

Just saw we closed the deal to get Deebo for a 5th rounder. I mean I will take that all day and twice on Sundays.

Meh. Fine i guess. Not reliable at all, but he'll help the 4 weeks he's healthy and they didn't give up much.

Good deal if he can stay healthy, worth the risk.

Outside of his second year in the league he has never missed serious time.

Re: Commanders 2025 Offseason Thread

Man, making an extended run in the playoffs really makes the offseason feel a whole lot closer than our usual 6-11 type seasons. FA period came up fast. Only 36 days to the draft.

Going to be interesting to watch the whole 1st night of the draft, then have pretty decent odds that we end up trading down to recoup some picks.

I really hope last season was the start of an extended run of playoff trips. We have earned it.

Coleman is reportedly expected to move to RT instead of guard for now, and move Wyile to LG until Cosmi comes back. I don't recall Wylie ever playing as a guard before so I think this is going to be interesting to see how it unfolds in the training camp.

He has played more guard than tackle. he played tackle out of necessity when Lucas Niang was injured in 2021 and then ended up taking over that role as a starter in 2022. Many consider him much better at guard than tackle . . . so...

Tunsil | Allegretti | Biadasz | Wylie | Coleman

Could be a more than solid O-line. Hopefully, we'll keep looking to add some quality depth.

Yeah, it looks like the Oline is improved especially with the fact that Wylie played as a guard before (thanks skinsguru for the info). I would be shocked if we don't add more Oline players for depth via draft and/or FA via cuts after the training camp.

Commanders sign rugby player to play defensive end:

Count me in the group that wants to trade for Trey Hendrickson. Sack machine, very durable, and just turned 30. We need more playmakers on defense.

If the Commanders are going for it this coming season then yes. There is no other player, if he becomes available, that could do more to help us go all the way than Trey Hendrickson. He is one of the very best in the league at a critical position where we have a great need and he is not slowing down.

Here is something I read recently that makes me think the Bengals won't be able to sign him:

From their Executive VP Katie Blackburn, "I think he [Hendrickson] should be happy at certain rates that maybe he doesn't think he'd be happy at," Blackburn said Tuesday, via NFL Media. "I think some of it is on him to be happy at some point, and if he's not, you know, that's what holds it up sometimes. So, you know, it takes him to say yes to something, and also, we have all the respect in the world for him. He's been a great player. We're happy to have him. And so maybe we'll find a way to get something to work. We're just gonna see where it goes."

I bolded the worst parts of her stupid comments. What she says is not negotiating. It is telling him to stop being "greedy" and take what they are willing to offer. We all know this team is cheap and they have already gone out of character to sign three offensive players to monster contracts. I doubt that they will even tag Hendrickson because they won't want to have another huge contract on the books. Now would be a good time for the Commanders to make Cincy a very good trade offer for him that they can hardly refuse due to their cheapness and then sign him to a nice contract.

p.s. It seems to me that Trey needs a better agent.
