That’s a Monday; so our bye will likely be the next week; the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

Nov 16th is a Sunday but you are right that we will likely have the bye week in week 12 unless washington specifically opts not too.

They usually have a bye after an international game.

I've already booked an hotel in Madrid. Just the small matter of securing game tickets if this is confirmed on Wednesday. Bring it on...

per a Boston.com article, https://www.boston.com/sports/new-en...20North%20said. ,
Quote:
"The Patriots are heading to Europe for a second straight season, but they won’t get an extended break following their trip in 2024.

New England will not have a bye week after it takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London in Week 7. It’ll head back stateside and host the New York Jets in Week 8, playing six games after the London trip before a bye in Week 14.

That’s obviously a change from last season, when the Patriots had a bye following their Week 10 trip to Frankfurt, Germany, against the Colts. It’s also different from how most teams approach trips overseas, often taking a bye week following a game.

NFL vice president of broadcast planning Mike North explained on a conference call that more teams are opting to bypass having the bye week after their European trip for multiple reasons.

I'd take the bye if I'm us.

Just bear in mind, Madrid avg. temperature in November is around 13C (55F to you heathens). Might be warmer than where you are, but it won't be sunbathing weather. 😁

Much easier for me to get to from the UK. I reckon I can do everything, all in, for around £500. Flights alone to D.C. would likely be similar

Ha ha. I did actually check the weather! Not as warm as Barcelona but I'll take 13/14c over Birmingham in November.
