Jonathan Allen to IR

Redskins defensive lineman Jonathan Allen will miss the rest of the season, a source said. Allen suffered a Lisfranc injury in Sunday's win over San Francisco.

Ouch. This one hurts. We are real beat up on defense.

Everyone has injuries, it's the teams that can overcome them are the ones that don't go in the tank. Now it's time for Lanier to go in and make a name for himself.

It hurts our defense but better his foot and body heals than aggravating it by rushing back.

Such a shame, he was playing great football. Him and 98 look like our future on the line.

THis injury can linger too, it's more common in basketball but it can last much longer than u would think. We had one of the best run d's in the league, guess we'll see how bad it gets without him. The skins have no luck ever

Fuck This Shit

I am still pissed about Gordon Hayward, I swear none of my teams have any luck.

Second year in a row the first round draft pick has a season ending injury! You gotta be taking the sodding piss with me?

Re: Jonathan Allen to IR

I'd love to find a site that has the stats of injuries (or maybe we've just never had depth) but we get bent over by injuries year in and year out each season. It could just be perspective, but it just seems like we have so many key players go down.

Re: Jonathan Allen to IR

I knew 3-4 weeks seemed way too short for that injury. I guess we're just cursed to never have our 1st picks available to actually play.
