Redskins vs Bye Week Game thread

It's here folks. Every year we go into this game hoping the Skins don't mess it up. Just rest, get some health, and don't start any stupid controversies. Personally I expect the Skins to win this week going away, but the 2 newborn kiddos might mess up some of that resting on the offensive side of the ball! And Norman even if he's injured, I know he's chomping at the bit to say some crazy stuff on some network somewhere.

Finally CAN Gruden NOT f--- up the clock management on this one PLEASE. It's one week, not one month. Ice that kicker and get the team back on the practice field with plenty of time to spare!!!

and in all seriousness, let's talk about how our team sets up for the next stretch run:
SF at home
Philly away on MNF (Kirk is 0-4 now I think I saw)
Cowpokes at home on a Sunday 4oclock game
@ Seattle the first Sunday in November.

We ought to be at worst 2-2, but a 4-0 stand would be outstanding!

Re: Redskins vs Bye Week Game thread

I'm really worried about the injuries this game. Everyone always takes the bye as an easy win, but the potential for injury is there. Most players like to get away, go jet skiing, take their minds off football, etc. It leaves a lot of potential for injury.

The real W here would be if we can defeat the bye week by getting some key guys back from injury. Alls I know is it will be tough but it's definitely doable.

So I guess Breeland will now be the #1 corner. I'm just not a believer in Breeland anymore. He's just so inconsistent. But I guess if he's ever going to live up to his potential now is the time.

Let's go Arizona! Love to see them find a way to beat Philly today. Best way to win the bye week is to have all the other NFCE teams lose.

Went to Normans twitter to see if he had an update on injury, but nothing but mentioning 4 weeks.

That guy does a lot of community work, donated 100k to P.R. .... still amazed a top 5 corner in his prime just feel into our lap.
