"On Wednesday morning, we have now learned the veteran quarterback (Aaron Rodgers) will be skipping the team's entire minicamp because he 'prefers to be somewhere else away from football'." - Diana Russini

Way to go Aaron! You tell 'em, boy! I just love how dismissive and cavalier your reason was.

Re: 2023 NFL Post-Season Thread

Nobody will care if he goes out and slings 35 td's this year but obviously all the negative press hasn't fazed AR yet. He marches to the beat of his own drum.

Pretty happy we avoided that circus, this is not the type of environment for guys like Rodgers.

Valid point. Although it didn’t look that bad until he was traded to Jets.

I’m pulling for the Jets this year. While yeah it’s a bad look for AR, I want him to come in and wreck shop in the East. He is the Ric Flair of the NFL…pay heed

I still love AR as a player, no question he’s fun to watch

Jets @ 49ers in MNF opener. All eyes will be on him that night in a big opening game. Might be the best MNF opener I can remember.

I hope they break AR into little bits. Frigging diva. Can’t stand him anymore.

They just might. Imagine they're super pissed about the Super Bowl. Still can't believe Wilkes got fired as dc. SMH.

Somebody had to be fired. Unwritten NFL rule: Lose a Super Bowl and there must be a scape goat. It's unfair but it's also human nature.

After reading reports about the Wilkes situation, apparently Wilkes wasn't on the same page with Kyle, so it makes sense for the team to move onto someone else who understands what Kyle wants.

Nearly winning the Super Bowl and nearly beating the best qb in the game who already has multiple rings would be enough for any other coach. Just think this move will be one KS regrets.
