Around the NFL Week 10

Looks like Ware will return VS N.O. Hopefully the saints handle business for us and take down dallas.

An this Miami story is just weird..

Re: Around the NFL Week 10

I heard that on my way in to work and this could blow up big time for Miami if it proves to be systemic.

Richard Sherman on how he'd run the NFL if he had Roger Goodell's job | The MMQB with Peter King

He's dead on with a lot of his points, especially about Goodell giving up some of his power. I've grown to like Sherman. He's a very intelligent guy who someday is going to be the highest paid corner in the NFL.

He makes some good points but most of that rant seems like easier-said-than-done stuff.

Re: Around the NFL Week 10

I would like for a player to talk about the lost art of wrapping up when tackling an opposing player. To me that's the biggest problem with BM and others who lead with their heads when tackling.

I can clearly remember being taught tackling form in high school. Head up, target zone was the waist to the neck, wrap up and drive through the target.

I don't get it either when guys like BM talk about having to take guys' knees out.

Yup. We were taught to "bite the ball," making the ball your first contact area. If you bite the ball, neither the head nor the knees come into play.

Re: Around the NFL Week 10

I'm not defending Incognito specifically because he's a bigot, meat headed shit sack by all accounts, but I kind of see the basics of the situation in Miami like bounty gate in New Orleans. Nothing new in the nfl and let the team go where it may. If the culture is bad it'll be a short regime. Sick of all the damn investigations and drama.
